Hypnobirthing is an evidence-based, modern approach to birth that provides you with knowledge, practical tools & support, enabling you to have a positive birth, whatever you choose to do. It covers the physiology of birth, how to manage labour, how to develop a positive mindset towards birth, your rights and how to advocate for yourself and advice on how to care for you and your baby after birth.
Yes! You can join me and other parents and birth teams on a free hypnobirthing taster. I advertise them on here or my social when they are running.

Q&A
And you'll get a chance to ask me any questions and learn about my full course and hopefully meet other local parents.
Thousands of people have done hypnobirthing with great success, but nothing can guarantee that birth won't go to plan or that it'll be pain free. Preparing and getting informed can lead to a positive birth experience regardless of the mode of birth. Research has shown that women gained ownership of their birth and found their active participation during labour to be meaningful (when they'd done hypnobirthing.) They were informed of different options concerning their birth which made it possible to make informed decisions. Research has also shown that birthers who have used hypnobirthing have experienced quicker labours and lower intervention rates than those who haven't had any support.
Anytime after the first trimester is the right time. Hypnobirthing is a complete birth preparation programme and you get out what you put in, so the more time to learn, the better.
Yes! Hypnobirthing is for all births, not just homebirths and we'll explore different scenarios and interventions along the way, encouraging you to create birth plans for events like induction and caesarean so you feel prepared and in control.
